Welcome to Uganda

Uganda is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and it is among the East African countries covering an area of 93,104square miles. The source of River Nile is in Uganda and it has some of the best National parks for the birds watchers and it also shares the home of Gorilla with Rwanda / DRC.

The beauty of this country is very fascinating, the combinations of the beautiful national parks which up to date have not been destroyed by the tourism invasion, the landscape, lakes basins, mountains, the water falls at River Nile and above all most friendly people makes Uganda one of the best destination in Africa and yet still unknown to many people.

Uganda has a wide variety of plant life, from the Mvuli tree and the elephant's grass of the Uganda plateau to the dry thorn scrub, acacia, and the euphorbia of the southwest. The country also provides a habitat for many animals especially the forest animals, some of which are protected in the national parks. The chimpanzee inhabits the rains forest, and the species of the antelope (including the eland and the hartebeests), elephants, rhinoceros, lions and the leopard are found in the grassland.

Despite being located along the equator, Uganda has a mild and friendly climate, mainly because of its relatively high altitude. The temperature ranges about 16 to 29 degree Celsius.
