MURCHISON FALLS/KIBALE FOREST/QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARKS FOR (8 DAYS AND 7 NIGHTS)
Day 1 - Grand Imperial Hotel
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, met and transferred to Kampala.
Day 2 - Nile Safari Camp
Depart from Kampala through beautiful green undulating countryside for Murchison Falls National Park via the districts of Luwero, Nakasongola and Masindi. We will have a lunch break in Sambiya River Lodge after entering the park. We will stop to the top of the falls where you will get the opportunity to look down the stream plunging into a narrow gorge before continuing the journey to Paraa Safari.
Day 3 – Lodge at Nile Safari Camp
After an early breakfast, we will cross the river using a ferry and take a game drive through the Buligi circuit to see buffalo, giraffe, elephant, kob, waterbuck, hartebeest, oribi etc., plus a great variety of bird life and possibly lion or leopard. After lunch at Paraa Safari Lodge we will take a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, first discovered by the British explorer, Sir Samuel Baker. Here the River Nile thunders down through a chasm 20 fee wide. This boat journey is one of Uganda's classic showpieces. You will meet river wildlife including scores of hippo and Nile crocodile. It is also here that you will have the best chance of spotting the rare shoebill stork. On return, we will take a shoebill boat back to Nile Safari Camp for dinner under the stars.
Day 4 - Ndaali Lodge
An early departure for a guided 2/3hour tour to Pabidi/Kanyiyo Forest in search for chimpanzee and other primates as well as a variety of bird life starts the day. We continue for a full day trip to Fort Portal through Hoima and Kyenjojo with lunch en route. We will pass through breathtaking scenery and delightfully rolling hills covered with the tea plantations of Kabarole.
Day 5 - Mweya Safari Lodge
After an early breakfast we depart for Kibale Forest and an exciting hours trek in search for chimpanzee at least 12 species of primates that provide one of the highest primate densities in the world. You will meet with families of chimps and red colobus monkeys chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees. There are over 325 species of birds and 144 species of butterflies. On return we will have a quick lunch followed by your departure to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kasese.
Day 6 - Mweya Safari Lodge
We start with an early game drive before breakfast through the Kasenyi track where we will meet abundant game such as kob, warthog, and possibly lions and leopards as well as numerous birds. Return for breakfast and remain at leisure until lunchtime. This afternoon we will take the boat trip to Kazinga Channel, where we will encounter schools of hippos, a variety of birds and see fishermen at work.
Day 7 - Grand Imperial Hotel
After breakfast we leave for a guided walk into Maramagambo Forest where we may encounter numerous species of game and birdlife and will see the pythons in bat caves. We continue our journey to Kampala via Mbarara and Masaka with a stop over at the Equator.
Day 8 - Flights
Depending on flight connections, we may have time for an optional city tour of Kampala, visiting the markets and batik shops.
