Camping Safaris All safaris leading to Africa are meant to offer you a chance to experience the African bush and wildlife, camping safari certainly offers you a more truer African bush experience which comprises of amazing game drives in the early morning and the late evenings, winding up with a night in the open African sky dotted with millions of ever glowing bright stars which appears to get closer as the night grows old.

The experience goes on throughout the nights as you share the campfire stories with local guide. Your immediate neighbors turns to be the members of the antelope family impala, waterbuck, grant gazelles, the warthog, zebras which all keeps very close within the camping sites probably for safety reasons unaware that their gathering draws the family cats lion the lions to the campsites. That is why you will probably not sleep in the night as the roaring lions keep you awake or an hungry hyena walking a round your tent for searching for left over or you may hear the hyenas laugh after enjoying a free meal that has been left behind by satisfied lions.

Walk Camping Safari
Our walk camping safaris are all set to spend mini 3 nights in each location and are meant for those who want to experience the real African wilderness in most isolated regions that are less traveled. To keep these places wild and leave it as natural as possible, we track the wild animals on foot, guided by experienced local tribes man who can tell what kind of animal we area about to encounter by study of fur, foot print (spoor) droppings, animal sound, the behavior of other animals / birds. Your safety is assured by being escorted by two-armed KWS ranger. The area we visit while on walking camping safari includes Tana River in Northern Tsavo, area-bordering Lake Jipe, along Galana River from Sala gate downwards the River, Meru National Park, and Chyulu Hills National Park.

As for the game viewing we start with early morning game walk to watch the wild animals and the birds before the sun rise for the next two hours, break off at about 0815Hrs for a bush breakfast and then have an other extended walk depending the weather of day, at the request of the clients we break off from bush and find parks road where our vehicle should pick us and ferry us back to the our camp, after lunch we relax to have an other game walk in the late afternoon, where permitted we will do a night game drive. Yes it may be tough but if you want to real know the African bush from learning how the animals move, hide, reacts to the surrounding, the insects, termites, the smaller animals such as the squirrels, monitor lizards, Mongooses, African herbs, wild flowers, rivers walking camping safaris is your best options, as you cannot see all this from game drive vehicle.

We use Land Rover and minibus for our safaris. Our prices includes good tents, clean sleeping bags, chairs & tables, 3 meals a day and mineral water.
