Great Lakes of Great Rift Valley and Maasai Mara National Game Reserve safari for Wildlife photographers;

This trip takes you to Great Rift Valley lakes which are known world wide as the best bird natural sanctuaries. Lake Nakuru National park is known to host millions of Flamingoes and Lake Naivasha has over 350 different bird species which are found in water fresh lakes. The drive take you also to Crescent Island , small wildlife sanctuary which found when film called Out of Africa being filmed. They brought in wild animals for the film but the sanctuary but after the film the animal naturally fitted the small island. From Lakes we head down to eighth wonder of the world Maasai mare where we spend about 6 nights . During this trip we use 4x4 land cruiser assigned to 3 pax per land cruiser unless there is a client who would like to take the front seat. We use the leading lodges to ensure comfort and safety for equipment. All lodges are have power for charging camera's battery and our vehicle are also equipped with battery charging facility as well. Rates valid for July ,August, September, October, November 2010/ 2011.

Day 1.Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi international airport, be meet by Okeno and be transferred to Panafric Hotel for overnight. Dinner direct.

Day 2. Lake Naivasha- Crescent Island
We leave at about 0530Hrs to drive to Lake Naivasha of one of fresh water lake of Great Rift Valley which stretches as far as Red Sea, running close Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and down to the Indian Ocean. The drive take about one hour and half to reach Lake Naivasha with one or two stop overt at the view point where stop for photography if the condition for photo taking will allow. Upon 0n our arrival in Crescent Island, we have two - 3 hours photo taking while on guided game walk, we get to see wildebeests, giraffes, most of the antelope family, zebras, hippos, different kind of water birds. At about 1030hrs to 1100hrs, we break off for refreshment and drive to Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge, relax to lunch time and at about 1545Hrs we drive out again for evening guided walk for an other photo taking session. We continue as long as the light will allow photo taking. Dinner and overnight Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. The lodges has electricity 24 hours.

Day 3,4 & 5 Lake Nakuru National Park.
We have an early morning drive to Lake Nakuru National park which is only 75km away from Lake Naivasha. The drive last for about an hour or so . After the gate formalities we start photo taking to late morning. Break off to Sarova Lion Hill lodge for refreshment and check . Have lunch and at 1545Hrs we leave for photo taking drive to sunset. We spend 3 nights in Lake Nakuru National Park while driving to the entire park including the baboon cliff, top of the Hill over looking Lake Nakuru. The high lights of Lake Nakuru includes the millions flamingos, buffalos, hyenas , tree climbing lions, giraffes, zebra. beautiful landscape, different kind water birds, baboons and the leopard.

Day 6,7 ,8 ,9 ,10 and 11 Maasai Mara National Game Reserve,
Before Sunrise photo taking in Lake Nakuru National park, and there after we leave to drive to Maasai Mara National game Reserve arriving after 4 hours and half . We take our picnic lunch in Narok and proceed to arrive in the late afternoon in Mara Sopa lodge, check and relax in preparation of spending 6 nights in Maasai. We spend 6 night in Mara Sopa Lodge while having two extended photo taking drive before sunrise and in the evening as from 1600Hrs to after Sunset to return back to the lodge by 1900Hrs. The photo taking drive will include drive to Mara River closing where you will see wildebeest closing Mara River. In Maasai Mara we will wildebeest immigration, Mara River closing, lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, etc guided walk along Mara.

Day. Maasai Mara / Nairobi
On this day you have option of balloon safari ( pre booking a must ), or have an other game drive and thereafter we drive to Nairobi arriving late in the evening. Have dinner at Carnivore Restaurant and the after transfer to airport to fly home.
