1 Day Tsavo East National Park Mini-Tour - 2 Pax
Starts Every Saturday, Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 0615hrs

Our tour mini van leaves from Voi town after the morning pickup and drive to Voi gate that is only about 6 km away. After the park formalities we open our minibus roof hatches for excellent game viewing and photography as we drive to the interior of the park or as per the location of the animals.

This one-day trip has mainly two extended game drives namely early morning game drive that extends to 5 to 6 hours and the evening game drive extending to 4 hours. The morning game drives takes to Kanderi swamps heading to Aruba dam in search of the elephants, lions and most of the antelope family. By about 0945 hrs we have a short break and thereafter proceed to crocodile point and Laggards falls a long Galana River. By lunchtime we drive to Voi Safari lodge, the lodge has an excellent viewpoint of the Tsavo East national park. We may take lunch in Voi lodge ($20 paid direct by the client) or have picnic lunch. At the lodge you will have the chance of going down to the lodge's water hole via underground tunnel to see the animals as close as 6 feet. It is safe from the underground tunnel.

At 1530 hrs we start earlier evening game drive as per the location the animals or we can visit Mundanda rock a one-kilometer long rock with a lot of history. Once it was used as the meat-drying panel due to heat absorbed by the rock during the day. We end up with evening game drive at 1830 Hrs and drive back to the Voi town / residence or you can connect your bus to Nairobi or Mombasa. The most likely animals to see during this trip are the elephants, lions, most of the antelope family, zebras, giraffe, elands, kudus, different birds species and a relaxing beautiful landscape.
